In Character

Family Name: Ishida

First Name: Uryu

Age: 15

Height: 5'7"

Weight: 121 lbs

Personality (Basic description): Uryu is a smart highschool student. By nature he is a shy and quiet person. He hates death gods, but has become more accepting of them over time, though he will never admit this. In school and around friends he will try to fit in more when people are around. He believes in his family name and takes a lot of pride in his family name. Generally he will make it known that he operates on a morale system known as "The Pride Of The Quincy." Though he has a strong sense of justice, he will never intentially try to take the life of another person, unless it is a last resort. Even when he is pushed to the limits his sense of self control is amazing and will intentionally still aim to not kill his opponent, even with his own life on the line. He tends to try and incapacitate his enemys and put them in a state where they will not be a threat. He is very respectful to women and believes that women should be treated with respect, he will also take action against men that harm women in any way. His relationship with his father is a shakey one. Though he has some level of respect, he does not address his father properly and instead calls him by first name. He also has a habit of pressing his glasses to his face, when he says something important or smart.

Physical Appearance: Like most Japanese students Uryu has long black hair that comes down to the middle of his neck. He is in good shape, a slim body like most Japanese students. In school he wears the typical uniform along with a white tie. Outside of school he normally wears the white Quincy outfit with a blue cross, representing the Quincy cross and sometimes he will also wear a white mantle that goes along with the Quincy outfit.

History/ Biography: As a child Urya was told by his father that being a Quincy was an outdated service and told to basically forget about it. This angered Uyru and caused much of the lack of respect he has towards his father. After that he turned to his grandfather (whom also doubled as his sensai) and asked to be trained in the ways of the Quincy. He takes pride in the fact that he tolds the title of "The Last Quincy." At a young age his grandfather was killed by hollows. Uryu tends to blame this on the fact that it took the Shinigami hours to show up. He later finds out that the Shinigami had intentionally shown up late as part of a twisted experiment which lacked morales for human life. This led to his hate of the Shinigami and he strived from that point to show that he was better than they were. In school he has always been among the top in his class in grades and currently is the top student in his class.

Sample Post:
Uryu had just finished dressing himself in his traditional Quincy outfit. The blue cross spoke volumes, to thoughs whom were educated in the rich history, to not hide the fact of his proud family heritage. He was the last Quincy after all. As he left the room, the door would be closed behind him and a glance given to Ryuken, his father, whom apparently seemed to be in a rush for work. Money was all that man seemed to care about, understandably so since his family was not financially well off as other families were. His head tilted forward and an arm would be raised to push his glasses up his nose and against his face. His finger would momentarily be held there as he announced, I will be leaving now, Ryuken. It was true that he called his father by his first name, a sign of disrespect in almost any culture. This occurrence never seemed to phase his father as it had come to be expected now. With that his hand returned to his side and he causally strolled to the front door. He would pause for a moment at the door and then open it. A nice day as was expected this time of year. He stepped out and closed the door behind himself. Where was he off too? A little feeling inside said there was a hollow nearby. Of course it was his job to now see that it was eliminated. Casually he strolled down the street, passing children and adults a like, whom seemed to not have a care in the world. At least a feeling of danger being close. He came to a stop as he looked in the direction of the hollow. Though he could not see it yet, due to objects blocking his view, he could sense exactly where the hollows location was. Slowly he extended his left arm and a bow in the shape of a spider-web slowly formed, formally known as Ginrei Ko-jaku. Carefully he would draw the oddly shaped bow back as an arrow formed. One last slight adjustment to elevation was all that would be needed as he now felt he was locked onto the target. Calmly and very well composed his form released the arrow to take flight and successfully strike down the enemy hollow in a brilliant display of his talent as a master archer. His hand then opened and his arm dropped as the bow disappeared. His deed to protecting the common man was complete. Hmph that was to easy. He stated, pushing though's glasses of his up against his face.

Interesting concept for Uryuu. I'm not sure if he actually lives with his father or not, but I haven't seen any Canon to suggest he doesn't.

I do want to point out that you made a few spelling errors on the Japanese words you were trying to use. Sometimes it's hard, but it'd be something to watch. Typos happen, but be prepared for others to give correction.

Overall, it's not too bad. I think you have a basic understanding of his character and I'm willing to give you a chance to play him. Please wait on the answers of the other admins before registering a username.
